STUDY SKILLS SUMMER CAMP:

Join us this summer for a six-day crash course in the study skills that are essential for high school success!  Using the award-winning SOAR Learning & Soft Skills program, students will learn and practice skills such as:

• Getting Organized

• Setting Goals

• Taking Notes

• Studying

• Asking Questions

• Taking Tests

• and more!

FUN & SOCIAL: 

Of course, the camp is not just a lot of school work-- it's also a great way to have fun!  Interspersed with the academics are games and activities designed with creativity and socialization in mind.

THE DETAILS:

Who:  Students entering grades 9 - 12.  Mirus students are automatically accepted into the program. Visiting students who meet Mirus's entrance requirements are also welcome! 

Days:  July 18 - 20 + July 25 - 27

Time:  10:00 am - 2:00 pm (extended day may be available)

Cost:  $395  (no pro-rating available)

Teacher:  The primary teacher is Ms. Erin Fry, a dynamic and experienced teacher for English, Social Studies, Art, and Theater.  She will be assisted by additional Mirus faculty.
